Elections in Israel. Over 85 percent of votes counted, Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc leads

Following the recent Knesset elections, 85.6% of votes have been counted, showing a tight race between Netanyahu's right-wing bloc and the opposition led by Gadi Eisenkot. Netanyahu's bloc currently holds 53 seats, while Eisenkot's bloc has 48. Arab parties are projected to secure 19 seats. The results indicate that forming a majority will require cooperation with Arab parties, which both blocs have previously rejected. Eisenkot has called for Netanyahu to step down, citing high voter turnout. U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the election, suggesting his support for Netanyahu influenced the results. If coalition talks fail, new elections may be held early next year.
