Elections in Israel. 99.9 percent of votes counted, no bloc has a majority
The Israeli parliamentary elections resulted in no clear winner, with Netanyahu's bloc securing 53 seats and opposition parties 48. Coalition talks will determine the next government, with a national unity cabinet being a possibility. The Likud party lost five seats compared to the previous elections, while the new centrist party Prosto gained 21 seats. Arab parties achieved a historic high with 19 seats. The left also saw gains, with the Democrats doubling their representation. The president will assign the task of forming a government to the candidate most likely to secure a parliamentary majority, with a deadline of 42 days to establish a cabinet.
