California Coast Underwater. "Mother Nature is taxing us"

Southern California has experienced unusually high tides twice this week, causing coastal flooding in areas like Newport Beach and San Francisco. Record water levels were recorded in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Barbara. Residents reported significant impacts, with seawater flooding streets and homes. Experts warn that the situation may worsen due to the El Niño phenomenon, with the highest tides typically occurring from November to January. Climate scientist Daniel Swain indicated that the worst coastal flooding has yet to come, suggesting that this may be just the beginning of ongoing challenges for affected communities.
