He rented a luxury car and disappeared. Police from Warsaw arrested him in Rzeszów
Police are investigating the case of a luxury car theft involving a Romanian man who rented a Mercedes worth nearly 800,000 PLN. He failed to return the vehicle on time, and his phone number was inactive. The rental company reported that both the car and its keys were allegedly stolen. Authorities discovered that the rented Mercedes had its tracking devices removed and linked the suspect to luxury car thefts across Europe. A planned operation in Rzeszów led to the arrest of the 35-year-old and a 27-year-old accomplice at a rental agency. The older suspect faces charges and a potential 10-year prison sentence, while the stolen vehicle remains missing, possibly taken abroad.
