Verdict in the case of illegal migration through Poland to Germany. Eight people were convicted.

A court in Lublin sentenced eight individuals for organizing illegal migration from Poland to Germany and other EU countries. The group facilitated border crossings for approximately 150 foreigners, including Afghan and Pakistani nationals, for a fee. The leader, Aleksander B., received a sentence of two years and eight months but had his prison term suspended due to cooperation with authorities. Other members also received suspended sentences and were placed under probation. The investigation revealed that the group operated from January to August 2024, transporting migrants across the border illegally. The prosecution charged nine Poles with various offenses, including participation in a criminal organization.
