They will withstand a shock wave of up to 10 tons per m² and radiation. The first such structure is being built in Malbork.
In Malbork, two modern shelters are being constructed to enhance civil protection, funded by the government program. Each shelter will accommodate 150 people and withstand significant pressure and hazards. The first shelter is being built near local schools, while the second will be located at the County Fire Brigade. Both structures utilize prefabricated elements for efficiency and quality control. Additionally, Pekabex BET is collaborating with the Military University of Technology on a standardized shelter design for broader implementation across Poland.
