Yemen: fourteen dead in Saudi strikes; Houthis target Aden airport

On October 28, Saudi airstrikes in Yemen resulted in at least 14 deaths, according to Houthi reports. The strikes targeted Al-Jawf governorate, hitting a gas station and a market, causing additional injuries. In response, the Houthis launched missile attacks on Aden's airport, claiming to target a Saudi military cargo plane. The ongoing conflict has intensified since July, displacing over 250,000 people and affecting oil markets. The Houthis have also targeted Saudi oil facilities, prompting Riyadh to seek international support, with Egypt expressing readiness to assist, which the Houthis interpreted as a declaration of war.
