The parking card facilitates parking for individuals with disabilities that significantly limit their mobility. Eligible individuals include those with severe or moderate disabilities and children under 16. To apply, one must have a disability certificate and submit various documents, including a photo and proof of payment. The card costs 21 PLN and is valid for up to five years. By 2028, a unified European parking card will be introduced, requiring current cards to be replaced. The Polish government aims to avoid multiple exchanges by removing the cards from the list of public documents. The new European card will feature enhanced security and may include a digital version in the future.
