Murder of a priest in Jarosław. The prosecutor's office changed the charges against the suspect Ihor M.
The District Prosecutor's Office in Przemyśl has updated charges against Ihor M., now facing five separate counts of murder and attempted murder. Initially charged with one murder and four attempts, the prosecution now asserts that he acted with renewed intent. Ihor M. has admitted guilt but declined to provide further explanations. He remains in custody under psychiatric care due to diagnosed psychotic disorders. The attack occurred on September 24 at a monastery in Jarosław, resulting in the death of priest Stanisław Zbojnowicz and serious injuries to four others. The prosecution is investigating his mental state at the time of the crime and has requested medical documentation from Ukraine to assess his sanity.
