Missing during the war, returned after 80 years. The painting can be seen at the exhibition
The artwork "Lady with a Fan," likely from the 19th century, has been returned to the Museum of King Jan III's Palace in Wilanów after 80 years. It was first recorded in 1877 and was likely taken during WWII. In May 2023, a German couple expressed their intention to return the piece, which features Wilanów markings. The artwork is now part of the exhibition "Lost / Recovered," showcasing restituted works by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
