Lost wartime treasure from the 19th century recovered. "Lady with a Fan" has returned to Wilanów

The artwork "Lady with a Fan," recovered after nearly 80 years, is believed to be from the 19th century. It was first recorded in the 1877 inventory of Wilanów and likely taken during WWII. The original markings remain on the back, and the previous owners returned it unconditionally to the museum. The piece is now registered as a historical artifact and is displayed at the Kordegarda exhibition "Lost/Recovered," highlighting efforts to reclaim Polish cultural heritage.
