Car purchase with a trap. Even 70% of buyers may have fallen victim to manipulation
Honda and Skoda represent the oldest and youngest used cars in Poland, respectively, with an average age difference of six years. According to carVertical, the average age of cars checked for transactions is 12 years, which is over three years younger than the overall average of 15.2 years for the Polish car fleet. Honda vehicles average 15.2 years, while Skoda cars average 9.3 years, largely due to the availability of leased vehicles. The market shows a preference for cars aged 6-10 years, with a budget range of 30,000 to 60,000 PLN. In September 2026, SUVs were the most popular, and the private import of used cars has been declining, with over half of imported vehicles being over 10 years old. Transparency issues persist, with many buyers unaware of their vehicle's history.
