Shopping on All Saints' Day. You will be able to do it in these places
On November 1, 2026, most stores will be closed due to All Saints' Day falling on a non-trading Sunday. Large supermarkets and shopping malls will be particularly affected, while gas stations, pharmacies, and some small owner-operated shops may remain open. The nearest trading Sundays are in December, with eight designated trading Sundays throughout 2026. The Sunday trading ban, implemented gradually since March 2018, allows for limited exceptions, including postal services and certain types of shops. Violating this ban can result in fines ranging from 1,000 to 100,000 PLN, or even restrictions on freedom for repeated offenses.
