Cities like Poznań and Łódź are adopting these practices, with Poznań's Memory Forests established in 2022 and 2023, and Łódź's in 2024. Kraków has introduced a 'Memory Trees' section, promoting environmental care during burials. These initiatives reflect a growing trend towards natural burials, with specific regulations and costs associated with these eco-friendly options. Gdańsk is also developing a Memory Forest, emphasizing minimalism and harmony with nature.
