Before help arrives, roads need to be demined. Report from Ołeszek

Since October 27, a ceasefire has been in effect in designated areas, allowing for mine clearance operations. This is crucial for safely delivering humanitarian aid and enabling civilians to leave the city. Ukrainian human rights spokesperson Lyubynets is coordinating humanitarian mission preparations with Russian human rights commissioner Yana Lantratova, facilitated by Melania Trump. The situation in Oleshky, near Kherson, is dire, with around 2,000 people lacking food and water, including 50 children. Evacuated residents may first be taken to Crimea or Russia before returning to Ukrainian-controlled areas. The ceasefire in Oleshky is set to last until November 1 at 22:59.
