She fell asleep in the car, will go to prison

On Monday, police received a report about a woman sleeping in an Audi with the engine running and empty vodka bottles inside. Witnesses, suspecting she might be intoxicated, turned off the engine and called the police. The 48-year-old driver had over three times the legal alcohol limit and was under a court ban from driving. She admitted her guilt and faced the court in a fast-track procedure. The court sentenced her to eight months in prison, a lifetime driving ban, and a financial penalty totaling 15,000 PLN, along with court costs. The verdict is not yet final.
