Ceasefire in occupied Ołeszki. Ukraine confirms

Ukraine has announced a ceasefire starting October 27 to facilitate humanitarian operations in the temporarily occupied Oleshky. The ceasefire aims to deliver aid and allow civilian evacuation due to a severe humanitarian crisis affecting around 2,000 residents, including children, who lack food and water after flooding caused by a dam breach. The U.S. has confirmed that both Russia and Ukraine agreed to halt fighting temporarily from October 29 for humanitarian assistance. President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hopes for peace talks, anticipating a trilateral meeting with U.S. and Russian teams in early November to discuss Ukraine's European integration and ongoing negotiations.
