Zelensky changes position. Ukraine ready to discuss Russia's security

During a press conference in Kyiv, President Zelensky stated that ending the war is a priority before considering Russia's security demands. This marks a shift from Ukraine's previous stance, which rejected Moscow's requests as attempts to restore its sphere of influence. Upcoming negotiations in Abu Dhabi will involve Ukraine, Russia, and the USA, focusing on technical aspects like a ceasefire and security guarantees for Ukraine. Zelensky emphasized that European involvement is crucial for post-war security discussions. He also noted concerns about the growing rapprochement between Washington and Moscow, which could affect Ukraine's position. Zelensky maintained that territorial issues should be addressed only at the leadership level, expressing readiness to discuss a demilitarized zone proposal.
