Zelensky backs Norway-Finland talks with Putin, says Trump already ended Russia's isolation

President Zelensky expressed support for Norway and Finland's recent call with Putin, countering criticism from Danish PM Frederiksen. He noted that Trump's past meeting with Putin had already ended Russia's isolation. Zelensky praised the transparency of the Nordic leaders' diplomatic efforts, while acknowledging ongoing European contacts with Russia. Despite the call's intentions, reports suggest Putin dominated the conversation with his views on history. Upcoming peace talks involving Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S. are anticipated in Abu Dhabi, following preliminary discussions in Europe.
