Zelensky, 'i 500 Patriot Usa fra anni, ma dobbiamo difenderci questo inverno'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the significance of the U.S. decision to allow Ukraine to purchase 500 Patriot missile systems to counter Russian ballistic missiles. He noted that these systems could enhance Ukraine's defense, especially with winter approaching and ongoing Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. However, deliveries may not begin for several years, prompting Zelensky to urge partners for immediate support, including 100 interceptors monthly. He highlighted the urgency of protecting Ukrainian cities from Russian strikes and expressed gratitude to U.S. officials for their support while calling for timely decisions to safeguard lives.
