Zelensky visits Turkey on Saturday for talks with Erdogan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to visit Turkey on Saturday for discussions with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the ongoing war with Russia and security in the Black Sea. The talks will focus on regional developments, the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, and enhancing bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Ukraine. Erdogan expressed Turkey's readiness to support renewed negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow during a recent call with U.S. President Donald Trump. Turkey has proposed a protocol to end attacks on merchant ships in the Black Sea, inspired by a previous grain agreement. A new round of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia is scheduled for November in Abu Dhabi, mediated by the United States.
