Zelensky is ready to meet Putin in Turkey

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed readiness to meet with Vladimir Putin in Turkey to discuss ending the war. He emphasized the need for diplomatic efforts to transition from active conflict to negotiations, hoping Turkey will play a mediating role. Zelensky mentioned that a high-level meeting is essential for peace and that Turkey could effectively facilitate future talks between Moscow and Kyiv. He also highlighted upcoming discussions on a partial ceasefire regarding energy and maritime areas, as well as prisoner exchanges. The Kremlin has been avoiding direct talks between Zelensky and Putin, preferring phone conversations instead. Meanwhile, Russian attacks have left many in Ukraine without power.
