A 27-year-old cyclist has died. Police: the driver ran a red light.

A cyclist was fatally struck by a Mitsubishi driven by a 74-year-old man in Warsaw. The incident occurred when the driver allegedly ignored traffic signals while the cyclist was using a designated bike crossing. Despite receiving assistance, the 27-year-old cyclist died from his injuries. The impact was so severe that the bicycle was propelled approximately 100 meters. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident under the supervision of a prosecutor.
