Massive cyberattack on Russia. Hackers took over the warning app and obtained important data

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a massive cyberattack targeting its mobile application, allowing attackers to spread false information. Efforts are underway to restore normal functionality. Meanwhile, Belarusian hackers breached the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), displaying messages in Belarusian and claiming responsibility for the attack, which allegedly compromised internal infrastructure and military casualty data. Rosstat confirmed the attack but denied any data leaks. Additionally, Ukraine's air force command reported that its warning system was hacked, sending false alerts about potential nuclear and chemical attacks, but the system has since been repaired.
