Is changing the time worth it? You could earn even that much more
The transition to winter time will occur on the night of October 24-25, when clocks will be set back one hour. This change means that night shift workers will work an additional hour, entitling them to higher pay. According to labor law, this extra hour is considered overtime during night hours, granting employees a 100% overtime pay increase and a night work bonus. For example, a minimum wage worker will earn approximately 60.07 PLN gross for this hour, while a specialist doctor could earn around 194 PLN gross. Employers may offer time off instead of extra pay, but the night bonus must still be paid. The next transition to summer time will occur in the last weekend of March.
