Change of rules during reading. Book platform under the scrutiny of UOKiK

The UOKiK has raised concerns about Legimi's practices regarding subscription changes and trial periods. The company moved some e-books and audiobooks to a new paid catalog, requiring users to pay extra fees, which the UOKiK argues violates consumer rights. Additionally, the trial period initiation lacked clear information about automatic charges after the trial ends. Legimi could face fines up to 10% of its annual revenue if the allegations are confirmed. Legimi has not yet responded to requests for comment.
