Changes in the Krakow City Hall, Łukasz Gibała dismissed five representatives
Kraków's new mayor, Łukasz Gibała, has dismissed several appointed officials linked to the previous president, Aleksander Miszalski, and restructured the city administration. Gibała has eliminated six departments established by Miszalski and created a new position for a legal violations commissioner. He also terminated the directors of the Sports Infrastructure and City Roads departments, with their deputies taking over. Amidst Kraków's significant debt of approximately nine billion zlotys, Gibała has proposed salary cuts for himself and aims to reduce the mayor's office costs by 30% by 2027. He has also released a draft of the city's general plan, previously withheld by former administrations.
