Changes in the mandatory equipment of new cars. A specific date has been set.
In Poland, personal vehicles currently do not require a first aid kit, except for taxis, driving school vehicles, buses, and certain trucks. However, a new regulation set to take effect on March 31, 2027, will mandate that all newly registered personal cars must include a first aid kit. This change aims to enhance access to essential medical supplies for emergencies. The Ministry of Infrastructure estimates that around 650,000 vehicles will be affected in the first year of implementation. Currently, drivers must have a warning triangle and a certified fire extinguisher in their cars, but reflective vests are not mandatory in Poland, although recommended for international travel.
