"Changes start now." Students demand the resignation of service chiefs and accountability from the authorities

On Thursday, representatives of the winning Student List held a press conference demanding accountability from current authorities and immediate resignations of police, intelligence, and justice leaders. Filip Ubović emphasized that state institutions should serve citizens and that the law must apply to everyone. Students urged officials to protect documents from being destroyed by outgoing authorities, fearing evidence of potential abuses might be hidden. They accused top police and intelligence officials of acting in the interest of former president Aleksandar Vučić, violating the law. The new political force plans a thorough review of all public contracts and expenditures, ensuring transparency. The Student List won 52.54% of the votes in the recent elections, surpassing the United Serbia party, and is calling for the electoral commission to announce official results promptly to form a new government.
