Soldier allegedly assaulted and stole a car. He abandoned the vehicle 100 km away, then walked on foot

A soldier was arrested for assaulting and stealing a car in Warsaw. After abandoning the vehicle 100 km away in Zambrów, he continued on foot. The incident occurred early Monday morning when the soldier, a military academy student, forcibly took the car from its owner. Following the theft, police launched a search and apprehended him on a bridge in Zambrów. The Mazovian Military Gendarmerie is investigating the case under the supervision of the Warsaw-Ursynów District Prosecutor's Office, following protective proceedings.
