Soldier shot a migrant. There is a verdict from the military court

A Polish Army lieutenant was acquitted by the Military District Court in Warsaw, with no evidence of wrongdoing during his service at the Belarus border. In November 2023, he accidentally shot a migrant, as confirmed by Deputy Prosecutor Radosław Wiszenko. The incident was reported by humanitarian activists and involved the Military Police's investigation. Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized the support provided to the soldier, stating that no soldier should face difficulties alone.
