Health insurance premiums will rise significantly next year, with DSW adding nearly 15 euros per month. 'Largest increase ever'
Health insurance premiums are set to rise significantly next year, with DSW announcing an increase of nearly 15 euros per month, marking the largest hike ever. This increase is attributed to rising healthcare costs, particularly due to higher wages for healthcare staff and increased prices. The mandatory deductible will also rise for the first time in eleven years, from 385 to 400 euros annually. DSW's director, Aad de Groot, expressed concern over the impact of these increases on consumers, noting that other insurers are likely to follow suit with similar hikes. The new premiums will be announced by other insurers by November 12, with consumers having until December 31 to switch providers.
