In October, the Lubelski Czek Turystyczny program issued approximately 4,700 vouchers worth 300 PLN each, primarily benefiting seniors and large families. Over 50% of these vouchers were utilized by tourists, with plans for a third round starting November 2. The program aims to support the local tourism sector, with funding from both the Ministry of Sport and local government totaling 3 million PLN. The initiative has reportedly improved occupancy rates in accommodation facilities across the region, which welcomed around 3.2 million tourists last year.
