Żurek: I submitted a request to hold Święczkowski accountable for criminal responsibility

On Friday, the Constitutional Tribunal announced a suspension of duties for Bogdan Święczkowski and Bartłomiej Sochański. Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek submitted five requests to lift their immunities, four concerning Święczkowski and one regarding Sochański. He confirmed that 50 volumes of documents related to the alleged crimes were sent to the Tribunal, with the oldest judge, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, receiving them. Żurek stated that these requests are part of ongoing criminal proceedings and involve serious allegations, but he refrained from disclosing specific details at this time.
