A new school with 24 classrooms is being built instead of the container school in Gyömrő
The Hungarian government announced the construction of a new school in Gyömrő to replace the temporary container school. Prime Minister Péter Magyar stated that nearly 11 billion HUF will be allocated for the new building of Fekete István Primary School, addressing long-standing issues faced by families. Local representative István Balajti highlighted the poor conditions students endured in the old school, which led to the temporary relocation of around 600 children to a container school. The new facility will feature modern amenities, including 24 classrooms and specialized rooms, and is set to be built on the site of the old school.
