8 days in hell near Kharkiv. The first such drone in the world was sent to help an injured soldier

Artem Lytvyn, a 25-year-old Ukrainian soldier, lost part of his leg after stepping on a mine near Kharkiv. His evacuation was complicated by the dangerous conditions of the battlefield, where attempts to rescue him using ground robots failed. Eventually, a large drone named StarGate, designed for medical evacuations, was deployed for the first time. After eight days, the drone successfully reached Lytvyn, allowing him to escape. He was later treated in a hospital where his leg was amputated. Lytvyn expressed gratitude for the rescue and hopes to see further development of drone technology for military use. SkyFall, the company behind StarGate, aims to produce 1,000 units monthly by year-end.
