The government is building a larger school in Gyömrő than planned by its predecessor

The government reaffirms its 2021 decision to establish the Gyömrői Fekete István Primary School, which will be owned by Gyömrő City Council and managed by the Monor Educational Center. Funding of 357 million HUF this year, 175 million HUF next year, and 10 billion HUF by 2028 is allocated for this project. The school will now have 24 classrooms instead of the previously planned 16. The decision does not clarify why Gyömrő was singled out from the 19 school developments in Pest County mentioned in the earlier government resolution, only stating the necessity for comprehensive infrastructural development in public education.
