According to the head of the archive, 160 monitored names were mistakenly added to nyitottaktak.hu.

An IT error led to the release of approximately 160 names, including former MP Sándor Lezsák, on the nyitottaktak.hu website. The head of the Historical Archives of State Security Services, Gergő Bendegúz Cseh, apologized for the data breach and will contact Lezsák directly. The names were removed from the database, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the error and identify any other similar cases. The issue arose during the processing of data from magnetic tapes, where a coding mistake misclassified individuals. Cseh confirmed that they are reviewing the entire dataset of 60,000 names for potential errors, and while they have received numerous inquiries, no formal complaints have been made yet.
