The Hungarian government has terminated the support program intended for the Republika Srpska.

The Hungarian government has terminated its support program for the Republika Srpska, which was intended for purchasing agricultural machinery. This program was part of a larger €100 million aid package announced in 2022 by former Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Milorad Dodik. Farmers were required to invest at least 30% of their own funds to purchase machinery manufactured in Hungary. The aid was managed through the Central European Economic Development Network (CED), commissioned by the Hungarian government. As of the article's publication, there has been no response from either the Hungarian government or CED regarding the reasons for the program's termination or the fate of the remaining funds from the aid package. Milorad Dodik, who previously held the presidency of the Republika Srpska, was stripped of his mandate last summer and sentenced to one year in prison.
