Afrit Wervik on A19 closed until Christmas holiday: last phase of N58 has started

The Wervik exit on the A19 is closed for traffic from Ieper until just before Christmas due to ongoing roadworks on the N58. The final phase includes resurfacing and installing concrete barriers. The project, which started in March 2025, aims to improve traffic safety and reduce congestion by doubling lanes and upgrading intersections. The works are expected to finish earlier than planned, by the end of this year, thanks to efficient planning and favorable weather conditions.
