Álvaro Pires. Dismissed Financial Director of the Judicial Police

Álvaro Pires was removed from his position as the financial director of the Judicial Police by the national director, Carlos Cabreiro. Pires requested not to continue in his role after suggesting that a seized trailer from Operation Pacoba be kept by a company linked to the current Minister of Internal Administration. He also provided incorrect information regarding the destruction costs of seized materials, which misled the Minister of Justice, Rita Alarcão Júdice. Pires is known to have a close relationship with the current minister, who referred to him as 'the Mourinho of Judicial Police finances.'
