An animated John Wick film is in the works, with Keanu Reeves returning.

An animated prequel film is in the works for the successful John Wick franchise, with Keanu Reeves voicing the titular character. Directed by Shannon Tindle, known for his work in stop-motion films, the screenplay is penned by Ryan and Kaz Firpo, who have Marvel experience. The story will explore how John Wick accomplished the Impossible Task in one night to reunite with his love, Helen. The franchise began in 2014, following Wick's journey after the death of his dog, leading him back to his assassin life. Reeves has portrayed Wick in five films but announced he cannot take on more live-action roles due to knee issues. He has voiced characters in various projects, including Toy Story and Cyberpunk 2077.
