Arsenal of historical weapons in garage, charges against the owner

A 34-year-old man was arrested last week following a police investigation in Dzierżoniów County. Officers discovered a complete Mauser rifle with ammunition and various other weapon components in a garage. Additionally, over 650 rounds of different types and calibers of ammunition were secured. The suspect was found to be conducting unauthorized searches for hidden artifacts using a metal detector. He claimed ignorance of the legal requirements. He faces charges for illegal possession of firearms and conducting searches without permission, with the investigation led by the District Prosecutor's Office in Dzierżoniów.
