It will be more expensive at the notary. For these services, we will pay even four times more

New regulations have increased the maximum notary fees in Poland, effective from Thursday. The Ministry of Justice justified the hikes due to rising operational costs and the complexity of notarial tasks. Notably, the maximum fee for a standard will has surged from 50 to 200 PLN, with other fees for powers of attorney and inheritance documents also rising significantly. New thresholds for high-value transactions have been introduced, with a maximum fee of 14,270 PLN for transactions exceeding 5 million PLN. Additionally, fees for entries in land registers and notarial copies have increased. However, these changes set maximum fees, allowing notaries to charge less if agreed with clients.
