The Nazi pub in Erzsébetváros has been closed

The Nazi-themed bar on Damjanich Street has been closed, as reported by Péter Niedermüller, the mayor of the VII district. He shared images of the establishment, now covered with bars and marked as 'for sale'. Niedermüller noted that locals had observed the venue, disguised as a cultural association, being frequented by neo-Nazis and operating a webshop selling Nazi-themed merchandise. He previously filed a complaint and organized protests against the bar. The police confirmed an investigation into the Nordic Sun bar for the use of prohibited symbols, with two suspects being interrogated. The bar was run by the Nordic Sun Cultural Foundation, known for music production and organizing a controversial event disguised as a film shoot two years ago.
