The monthly ticket in Krakow will be cheaper. President Gibała announces

Starting September 1, 2027, the monthly ticket price for Krakow residents will be reduced to 90 PLN, reverting to the pre-2026 increase rate. Mayor Łukasz Gibała announced this decision via social media. Additionally, from January 2027, new temporary ticket options will be introduced, including a 20-minute ticket and a 40-minute ticket, replacing the current 30-minute option. These changes aim to facilitate public transport use and encourage residents to opt for trams and buses instead of cars.
