Bob Dylan met with the Pope at the Vatican

Pope Leo XIV met with American musician Bob Dylan at the Vatican during Dylan's European tour. The meeting was described as historic by Antonio Spadaro, who accompanied them. Dylan, dressed in black, is in Italy for concerts in Rome and Bologna. The Pope referenced Dylan's lyrics about nuclear weapons in a recent publication. The audience was brief, with the Pope gifting Dylan a rosary and Dylan presenting his autobiography. Dylan, awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016, has a career spanning over six decades.
