The Vila Real Hospital's Surgery Service will undergo a new disinfestation on Friday due to previous tick detections. The Local Health Unit of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro confirmed no new ticks have been found since the last disinfestation in late October. As a precautionary measure, patients will be temporarily transferred, which may disrupt surgical scheduling.
