Fuel prices are falling again. The Minister of Energy announced new rates for the weekend
The Polish Minister of Energy announced new maximum fuel prices for November 7-9, with Pb95 at 6.12 PLN, Pb98 at 6.80 PLN, and diesel at 7.83 PLN per dm3. This pricing is part of the government's Fuel Price Lowering (CPN) initiative aimed at reducing fuel costs for drivers. The CPN program, funded partly by a 60% tax on excess profits from fuel companies, is set to last until the end of 2026 and may cost around 5 billion PLN. A recent survey indicates that nearly half of Poles prioritize lowering fuel prices over reducing the budget deficit.
