Chega wants legislative package for cost of living increase

The Chega party has called for housing measures to be included in the 2027 State Budget, urging the government and PS to approve proposals to alleviate the cost of living. Party leader André Ventura emphasized the need for a legislative package addressing rising living costs, including food and fuel prices. He stated that many proposed measures are budget-related and that discussions on housing cannot be separated from broader economic issues. Ventura announced that Chega will present numerous proposals, including tax deductions for housing credit and increased rental deductions.
